Part ghost story, part love story, but more a supernatural horror story, The Voice tells the tales of Craig and Mary Harrison, a young married couple who both live through a Hell instigated by a malicious, malevolent, supernatural entity known only as The Voice.

It all begins with Craig telling his story to his kids (15-year-old daughter, Christine and 10-year-old son, Paul) from 185 miles away (through the power of The Voice) about how he started hearing a voice that only he seemed to be able to hear. His sister dies in a tragic auto accident and he starts losing sleep at an alarming rate. Around this time, he meets a benevolent benefactor who teaches him about the incredible power of The Voice. His sanity slips further from there when he is sent to a mental institution for the criminally insane after attempting to kill an evil professor at the college he’s attending.

Then it falls on Mary, who has started to hear The Voice and is losing sleep, as well. She's having terrifying nightmares and visions, which threaten to destroy her sanity, once and for all. With the help of her niece Shae, she must ferret out the source of The Voice and destroy it before it can bring misery and destruction to yet another family, or die trying.
