Part ghost story, part love story, part murder mystery, The Voice is a supernatural horror story which follows Craig and Mary Harrison, a young married couple, as they both do battle, each in their own way, against a frighteningly powerful, malevolent entity determined to destroy their sanities.  Once you hear it, no one can help you.

It all begins with Craig telling the story of how he ended up where he is to his kids (15-yearold Christine and 10-year-old Paul) from 185 miles away (through the power of The Voice) about how he started hearing a voice, which seemed only capable of nonsense words and which only he seemed to be able to hear.  A few months later, just after It says a real word that he understands, he starts losing sleep at an alarming rate.  Around this time, he meets a benevolent benefactor who teaches him about the incredible power of The Voice.  His sanity slips further from there when he is sent to a mental institution for the criminally insane after attempting to kill an evil professor at the college he’s attending.

Then it falls on Mary, who has started to hear The Voice and is losing sleep, as well.  She's having terrifying nightmares and visions, which threaten to destroy her sanity, once and for all.  With the help of her niece Shae, she must ferret out the source of The Voice and destroy it before it can bring misery and destruction to yet another family, or die trying.
